Hot, steamy, sexy, emotional and loving.
This is a story of a young lady(April) and her 3 step brothers.

When April meets them she is blown away by their good looks. If she had to choose, who would she choose?

When tragedy strikes, her brothers come to take her home. There she slowly recovers and learns to face the world again.
However, that us not all that develops. The 4 start a relationship. There is lots of guilt involved on April's part and she does what she feels is best for all them. She leaves.

Slow she starts to build up a life of her own, when she receives a phone call from Reid asking for help, she has some choices to make...

I light easy read, I enjoyed the authors work.

I liked this story but not tons. The h is way too stuck on the step brothers thing, trying to make them her blood brothers, when they were not. Their parents were only married for about a year and they were all adults when they met. I really feel that too much was placed on that one premise. This story would have worked much better if she had not dwelled on that relationship block. There were so many different ways this story could have been spun.
Pretty good book. There was nice emotion, particularly from April as she coped with her mom's death and unraveling of her life. My biggest criticism is that the characters were kind of bland. The heroes were nice guys. April was a nice girl. It was a bit boring. I would've liked to see more drama or more alpha-ness from the men. I'd give it 3.5 if I could. I rounded up because the writing is good and clear, just the plot and characters lacked heat.
This story feels quite innocent compared to others in the same genre, maybe because it has less dirtytalk and bedroom action than most. The dilemma of being stepsiblings is practically removed from the beginning since their parents die, so it seems April is struggling more with the fact that she loves all three rather than the society tabu of them being "related". The storyline follow the usual romance recipe and doesn't, in my opinion, have anything out of the ordinary.
April had a good life with a corporate job and then when her Mom and step dad died things changed. Something happened at her job and she gets fired and then she breaks up with her boyfriend. With no money her 3 stepbrothers take her in. They moved into their parents' house. The attraction is there but will they all act on their desires while April is trying to get her life on track?
I had expectations going in because the book was a menage romance. It actually turned out to be a light, sweet romance. I've never read S. Twinn before, so I don't know if this is her normal style or if her books are more sexy/kinky. Either way, I'd give them a try.

The story begins with a short prologue, which tells how the group meet. When the story begins, April has already lost her job and boyfriend. Plus, all four have lost their parents in a car accident two months prior. April is staying with her step-brothers until she can get back on her feet.

The main source of conflict is April herself. She wants to be with her step-brothers, but she's doubts and feels shame. What would their parents say if they were still alive? What will the town think? The brothers aunt doesn't like April, and their business is having financial issues. April, also, believe the brothers care for her out of a sense of responsibility and pity. All reasons April tell the guys she's leaving w/o telling them how she feels about them or asking them how they feel about her.

The entire book is told from April's POV, and since there's four in the relationship, I would have loved to know what the guys were thinking. Each brother has a unique personality that his personal POV would have contributed a lot more to the book. The story moves quickly and occurs over several months, close to a year, due to big time lapses (weeks and months). The story still flows well, though. The story is well-written and there are few errors.
The story was a bit cheesy but not to much. The brothers where very supportive of each other and of her. The relationship felt genuine enough. I think my mistake was listening to the audio version instead of just reading it. It seemed to disrupt my imagination and the sexual scenes became more graphic this way less subtle and personal and I lost a bit of my connection to the story and characters as I was distracted or irritated by the read over. But for a fast afternoon read with some steamy loving it wasn’t all bad.
OMG so hot and so good .. this was so heartwarming and sweet and at the same time hot and sexy, totally taboo but love can't be denied. The brothers Mitchel, Reid, and Finn are so different and well-developed characters it makes sense that April would fall for all of them. Their love story is powerful yet natural. I loved them all. I highly recommend this book it's well written and complex but also down to earth. Happy Ending where no matter what they stay together building a life together. Now I'm going to read the books by this author.
